Now, I don\u2019t understand much about rap (or any other type of modern music), but I was surprised to hear that there was anything like German rap at all, and if there was that a couple of elderly American ladies knew about it. Then I noticed that the shop assistant was preparing a box of chocolates the tourists had ordered, and I realised that I had got it all wrong. They hadn\u2019t said \u201cThey always rap in Germany\u201d.
